Contacts and Events

I somehow do not understand. To add a user to the contacts you need to send him a letter? Or offer friendship? No other way?

Participants of the event can be by invitation only? In the event I did not find the form "join".

To send an invitation to join the event, you need to know the email user, or have it in the contacts. No other way?

If you don't see join button, then join t the event is allowed to particular people only.

In the setting of events:

Allow join: - members

Allow joining by membership: - Allow All

In settings membership level (admin panel, Standard or Promotion) do not see the "Join Event". There is only:
events add

events approve

events broadcast message

events browse

events comments delete and edit

events delete any event

events edit any event

events mark as featured

events search

events view

That's all, nothing else.

It - something... If event has already started, on time, to take part in it it is impossible, there is no button "Join". Why?? The user should have possibility to join event, if it was not completed yet. It is logical?
