Convert .htaccess to apache conf file?

Has any one taken the time to collect the various .htaccess files that Dolphin uses and 'move' them into an Apache conf file?

If so would you mind posting your <directory> directives here?

For those wondering why... http://muffinresearch.co.uk/archives/2008/04/07/avoiding-the-use-of-htaccess-for-performance/

Thanks.

Did you read the entire post. In the end, it was thought that the performance losses do not outweigh the convenience of an .htaccess file. Even on a heavily loaded site, your only talking losses that are measured in milliseconds.
