CoolIris Photo Share

I need to disable the photos share function in the Cool Iris Plugin. (Share to Facebook, share to Twitter)

I run an adult swingers site and this is not acceptable for my members.

Any suggestions?

Go to

Admin>Modules>Photos

• settings tab (top right of box)
• un tick / de select "Enable album slideshow:"
• save
• clear cache

only option..

change  :  album_preview.html  - in   :  modules/boonex/photos/templates/base

change  :  cooliris.swf  -   in :   plugins/cooliris/swf

it removes all the links - sharing - embeb

Thanks to both of you for replaying.

I tried Daniel's approach first. I works properly but leaves the share to option visible when you enlarge the photos!!

The Cooliris plugin woks fine and the bottom right share icons disappear. Daniel in your sample, these share buttons are not present.  In mine, they show up. Doing anything wrong?? See sample photo.

Your approach is straight foward. It works, but our members like this plugin. We will love to be able to used it.

I try not to edit core files as much as possible. If you decide to, you should document all changes for future reference when it comes time to upgrade your Dolphin install.

The less modding you have done to a site, the easier to upgrade and maintain. IMO

you need to change both files  -  album_preview.html  and  cooliris.swf 

 remove the contents of the cache  ( all files except  .htaccess  )   and    cache_public

What changes do I need to make to the files you mention below to ensure the share to facebook and twitter are removed?

Also, how do I edit the .swf file?

You do not need to EDIT the SWF file - just download the one provided by danielmarseille •(thank you Daniel)

also download the other file (album_preview.html) from Daniel's post and upload it to this location on your webserver - modules/boonex/photos/templates/base
