Countries

I want to take the different countries out of my new site since its geared towards a few neighboring cities. How can I do this any suggestions?

Easy... Goto http://YOURDOMAIN/administration/preValues.php?list=Country

Replace YOURDOMAIN with your URL

Well at the same place you can make up a cities pre-value field. Then add all the cities you would like in there. Then in your https://YOURDOMAIN/administration/fields.php you could add a block for city. Then in the block be sure to set type as selector.. Then in the advanced tab..  select drop down box and in  be sure to put #!city and replace city part with what ever you call your city that you made in the Predefined Values

So I removed all my countries because my site is based on a local community but when members try to post ads it says they must pick a country how do I get rid of this Anyone?

Leave your country in the countries list and select it as your default country in settings. On the profile it should should show Country: Your Country. If the arrow is still there, other countries won't be available.

With luck and a prayer, the Ads should be the same. Just one default country.

I tried it and it didn't work. I added my country back to the list and it still doesn't work.
