Country => region => department search profile

Hi Everybody !

Thanks at the team for this beautiful dolphin 7 project !

Did you plan to upgrade your app with a very usefull search option for french user (and probably other country) : Ability to search profile by Country >> Region >> Department ??

Or if someone can help me to find how I can proceed to add this function in the current search profile box ... what class (and file) assume this search... how can I extend it with ajax function to request region and department ?

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking for but I added a 'Region' field though the admin panel and setup the pre-values for each region of the UK and Ireland.  I then created another field called 'County' and added all counties for selection.  Based on what Region a user enters, I have a Cron job to assign the correct country (for Google Geomaps) plus this means the user doesn't need to fill out a redundent field as they have already specified where they are through region / county fields.  Anyway, you can look at what I did here.  I haven't managed an Ajax selector though, perhaps others here have.
