Hello guys,
as my community is developing, I want to create profile pages for some specific users, which look different from the regular users' profiles. Is this possible with Dolphin as it is now?

Is this a very good question, I was going to post this question last night...I don't find a way of doing it, but it would be great... |
I was reading at another website some tutorials and came across this, eventho it doesn't tell the specific answer, it's a start as to where else to look... Quote: Enable Users to Change Templates - This will allow user to specify what template they would like to view the site in terms of styling. The functions stay the same but the presentation is different. You will need to insert the following key "__switch_skin_block__" in your template page. For example, the _header.html file. I just don't know how to create that other template..lol.. |
There is a profile customizer mod that is created by one of the active members here on Unity.
You can find out about it at http://www.expertzzz.com/Downloadz/view/5900 It is not free though.
There are some other mods like this on expertzzz.com, but I would recommend you avoid them as most are by KMD. KMD uses several usernames on expertzzz and is not at all trustworthy. (KMD, KANDO, BUXTON161 and others)
The mod above is said to be very good, though I haven't tried it yet. ; ) |
Thanks Guy, but that's only to customize the background, text colors and so on. What we mean is a complete different profile layout..Example..Let's say my site is for art painters, music producers and photogrphers...Each one would have a different layout where the block are located in different places... |
Anton has a profile splitter here http://www.expertzzz.com/Downloadz/view/3323 |
Anton has a profile splitter here http://www.expertzzz.com/Downloadz/view/3323 This actually looks pretty sweet. Too bad the price is higher than I payed for an ad-free Dolphin not too long ago. |
