Cron not working.

Period. No matter what I do, I tried all the variants in the "troubleshooting" post (norne works), with the recommended cron job in installation, I get the "allow url is on" even if I've put a php.ini in every directory, it's not working.

There go a year and a half of work.

Many web hosts have the cron job run under the control of a different php.ini file. Perhaps you should ask your web host if there is anything you can do about it?

I've been on with the host for the last 4 hours. In SSH the cron shows as it would work fine. Allow_url shows to be off. But in Dolphin 7 the profiels are queued for the last 7 hours and I keep getting the error message in my inbox.

Yep, nevermind, it's my provider's fault... seems some script isn't working. Grrr

Well, guess it still doesn't work. They went in and fixed it, it doesn't give errors now, but nothing is transferred. I get the message in data migration that the profiles are transferred, but nothing has been transferred.

Day, try to do this, IF nothing has actually been transferred, uninstall and reinstall the migration module (this will reset the queue).

- Set the "actual path" to your old dolphin 6 directory (ex. /home/mysite/public_html/).

- Once set, either via FTP or cPanel, navigate to your D7 /periodic folder and rename the .htaccess file to .htaccess.old.

- Go back to your migration module and start the profiles transfer.

- From admin panel home, clear ALL cache, also might want to clear the /cache directory as well (except for .htaccess)

- Run your cron manually by navigating to www.yousite.com/dolphin7installfolder/periodic/cron.php (This WILL be a blank page)

- It should take a moment to load, if it doesnt, clear your cache again.

- Once its loaded, go back into your migration module and see if your profiles say transferred complete (# of profiles)

If this works, there is a problem with your cron setup. Remove the .old OFF of your D7 /periodic/.htaccess  file
