Custom Error Pages

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how I can set up "custom" error pages ie 404... And redirect page to an actual page at my site www.wowmobileexcitement.com   Right now if I type in a page that does not exist on my site I get directed to a "blank" profile page that reads.  Any idea why this happens? Instead of a regular 404 error page?

"Profile not available for view"
Thank you,
Jeff

The reason you are automatically brought to a profile page, is because Dolphin treats URI's to http://www.website.com/abc as a profile. I'm not sure how to go about changing this without things breaking.

Make a new profile.

Named it 404

Give it rigths for everyone to show

In the Profildescription write your 404 error text

than make a redirect in your .htaccess to this "user"

I changed the error message to sometig that fits our site better.

"Either that page has moved, or a member changed their profile permissions. I can't find any viewable document by that name here."

In language files, search for  "Profile not available for view" and it should bring up the editing for "_Profile NA"

Click on edit, type in what you'd prefer the error msg to say, hit save.  Then go to yourdolphin.com/randomword

Should get your new error msg.
