Custom profile feilds D6toD7

I was wondering if I recreate my custom profile fields in D7 to mimic the same structure in my D6 site will they be migrated over with migration script?

I am still hoping to get an answer on this, I should be ready in the next few days to start migrating data from 6 t o 7 and I am unsure of whats going to happen with the custom profile fields.

If I create the profiles exactly the same in D7 before I do the migration will all the info come with it or just the standard fields in d6.
