 Hi I have installed D7, and just found out that Arrixe server dosen't support D7 till its a stable version. I am going to go back and reinstall V6. When I had it installed earlier when i went to install modules there was none and I found the /module directory empty.. Is it supposed to be empty, if so where do I get modules from to install. support at Arrixe have asked me to come here and ask, and I can't find any reference to it in search. I have similar problem with Arvixe, also have to revert to D6. Modules you can find on Expertzzz site... http://www.expertzzz.com/ , someone of modules is free someone not. |

In D6 the Modules folder is empty (it really should be deleted from your install) and you should NEVER upload anything to it. The mods over on expertzzz do NOT go into the modules folder. Rather, the modules folder was instituted some time ago to add thing like phpBB3, but unfortunately due to the rate at which these things upgrade it's never been able to work properly. No reasonable way Boonex can keep up with all the different types of software on the market. |
