D7 and IE7 pictures not display properly

Some one commented to me the other day that the pictures on one of my websites were not working properly. They said that they were using IE 7. I do not have a copy of IE 7 but am on IE 8 but I knew my work RT servers use IE7. So I logged into one of them, started up IE7 and yes I was getting the same problems as the person said.  Little red crosses on each picture appear in the top right hand corner. So I downloaded IE Tester, installed it and exactly the same problem occurs on IE7 but not IE8. In fact leaving the page up for any length of time crashes out the tab on IE Tester. Any ideas? My website is www.socialathens.com. This is not an oppurtunity to advertise my website as I doubt very few of you are from Athens and if you are you are probably not expats. So not exactly the right place to source my members.

Admin -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Template.

Make sure the option for image caching is turned off. This option is not supported on older IE browsers.
