D7 chat not working at all

Hello everyone, i have read through all the post about video chat not working, however none of them fit my situation. Video chat doesnt work at all.

When you hit the chat link the chat page comes up Home and Rules. If you click on rules it will take to t the page of rules. Thats it. I am hosted on Arvixe  with a D7 install and a 6.16 migration. After reading the post i went to Arvixe.

Hello,

I am able to connect to RMS server now. I accessed http://maddpoets.com/m/chat/home/, but it seems like chat is disabled for the main user. Please check and let us know if you face any issues.

Hello,

The chat box isn't showing up. The RMS settings are correct. Seems like your codes and custom theme are hiding the chat window. Please contact your programmer to fix that and make the chat box visible.

So I checked my settings and they were all set to allow visitors and members view chat at any time. I changed my template back to UNI and still nothing. I logged in to the admin and when i click chat admin there, same theing a black page that says chat home and rules.

Anyone got suggestions?

This does sound odd. I am no guru here, but I have a suggestion to figure out if it does have anything to do with the template. I use firefox, and there is an exellent and SUPER handy free add on called FireBug. Its simple to figure out and it will show you whats up with your css. Hope this leads you to some kind of answer.

This sentance says nothing, and its possibly spellt wrong.

i have actually seen this, and this has been reported to boonex and reported in the bugs forum. Rayz even had this problem with a client he was working with. there is something in the dolphin refined script that is conflicting with the profiles images and the chat script is hanging up and that is why it looks half loaded, and not working. if you check, you will see that non-members are able to login, because then they are fed the rayz chat default logo.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I feel ya DosDawg, but no one can get in to the chat on my site. No visitor or User. Just a blank page. I think I may have a install issue. And here is why. When I went to add a picture to my blog post I got a error stating a folder was missing for the picture to be stored in. So I added the folder and tried to add the pic again. It worked fine. This will be the second time I have had to add a missing folder for something in D7 that should have been added in the install process. From time to time I get a DB error email starting off like this:

Database error in

Query:

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM `bx_blogs_posts`  left JOIN `Profiles` ON `Profiles`.`ID`=`bx_blogs_posts`.`OwnerID` WHERE 1 AND `bx_blogs_posts`.`PostStatus` ='approval' AND MATCH(`bx_blogs_posts`.`Categories`) AGAINST ('Dating and Personals')

Mysql error: Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list

Found error in the file '/home/maddpoet/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolSearch.php' at line 511.

I have no idea what it is looking for or why. I did send a email to tech support. Nothing worked. And got a lot off replies saying this is strange. Now I am getting crons error stating the following:

Unable to create lock file:  Read-only file system
Failed to start up concurrent users module!

Since I feel the software shouldnt have this many issues as i have no mods, my conclusion  is to start fresh without the 6.16 migration. May be this will help. However how do I keep my current members, the blogs they posted, and pics they have added from my D7 data base?
