Daily Quotes

I was wondering if anyone mastered putting the quotes in a Block.  I want to post them on the homepage, but the only thing that I found on here is a blog that puts it in a n ackward spot not using a block.  If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

yeah i serached one 2 things come up for this in non contributors and one fix is just to put it in the center of the bottum of the banner.  Then someone sent a link in contributors so i became one and it has same info.  Looking on posibly creating a block but more and more people not answer thinking that it cant be done and I am going to have to end up with an RSS.

You can use a PHP Block and then pull the data from the db. I have an example of it on my site (on the front page) that rotates the quotes randomly. If you want the code etc let me know. It's not optimized but it works.

I would be interested in getting the php code you used. Are you still willing to share it?
