Database Restore (Members)

Hello everyone... I have a dedicated box with D7 that is up and running fine. I also have a development site running on my local machine where I have been adding members, photos, videos, etc. I performed a DB backup on the local machine and then a DB restore on the live server, buit to my surprise, none of the members were transferred over.

Everything else seems to have transferred fine (Except Photos, etc) which it seems I have to copy over manually, but why didn't the memebers transfer over?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

Bump...

Come on guys... surely some of you know what the deal is here? a restore from the admin panel imports everything except the members?

When you exported from phpmyadmin, did you tell phpmyadmin to include a drop table in the exported sql?

Look at your current database. Are any of the profiles in the Profiles table there.

This is all guess work here. You did not specifiy step by step procedures on how you exported or how you imported, so we can't even tell you if your doing things wrong.

So, look at the current database. Did the tables import. If so, dump the contents of the cache, cache_public and tmp folders on the server and turn off all caching options in admin while your working on the new site so the caching system does not interfear with things.

And yes. it's not just a database copy, you need to copy over the contents of all folders containing photos, avatars, music, video, ect.
