Database connect failed..

I continually get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getParam() on a non-object in /home/user/inc/db.inc.php on line 83

Does anyone know what this is or how I can fix it?

Make sure you have the correct database information in inc/header.inc.php file...usually that error is thrown when dolphin is unable to connect to the database.

My service provider just posted a network outage.. First time it's ever happened, so I didn't immediately suspect it to be the cause.
