Database issue after 7.0.3/7.0.4 upgrades

This issue is killing me and have found no resolution.

Issue: After a successful 7.0.3 and 7.0.4 upgrade first thing in the morning my database LOOSES an whole bunch of users. I have it tracked to about 20 users who simple are deleted from the database... and I mean literally GONE.

I did a restore of the whole site, and tried the upgrades again. The issue occured again

I tried another restore and tried a third upgrade and it did exactly the same thing

The site runs fine all day long - but after coming back the next morning the users are GONE.

I have gone through the upgraded files (at least the ones I think could cause this) and all the code looks fine.

Any ideas welcome

This problem could occur in 7.0.3, the fix came in 7.0.4.

So if you have 7.0.4 everything should be fine, check for sure that the following changesets are applied:

missing the sql part.. guess I better check further just in case.

P.S: If I find other changes in the database missing, is it safe to "manually" execute the entire sql portion of the upgrade by hand? or is it best to find the offending entry and execute that single sql statement

It depends on particular situation, I think the better way is to execute suitable SQL query from official upgrade patch.
