Description ME field

In the Profile Fields section of the ADMIN panel I have the DESCRIPTIONME field set as NOT MANDATORY however when a user signs up on the join form this form requires the user to enter text even though it is not set as mandatory. The form will not submit until the user enters text. Does anyone know how to fix?

Try changing minimum value (in advanced, under the mandatory check box) to 0
