 Seriously... where do I find the general info about what any given module does. I want to enable email confirmation but am clueless about which module is for what and I don't want to enable/disable all kinds of modules as a trial-and-error since it might introduce issues with the database I'm not aware of.

To enable email confirmation, go to admin > settings > Membership Levels. There you must uncheck "Automatic profile confirmation without Confirmation Email" option. Unfortunately you can't find description of modules anywhere! Profile customizer allows member to change the font, color, background image, etc. of their profile page (like myspace). I dont know about Profiler. I think the Memebrship module is for paid memberships. |
Hi Aneesh, thanks but I don't see "Automatic profile confirmation without Confirmation Email" as an option there. Is that option only available when a certain module is installed? One other related question - if a member changes their email after confirming the one they registered with, can they be forced to confirm again? |
Hi, I looked further and it seems that option is in "Moderation Settings". So only thing left to figure out is what to do if they change their email after confirmation. |
