Desktop App Installation

Ok, we paid a bundle for Dolphin last week. Desktop App was listed as a feature, however, the documentation is this, and or too old. And there are murmurs that this feature is not "supported".

I have a platinum license, and a install token, but we set dolphin and ray media server ourselves, but cant figure out the desktop app. I downloaded the files from my license section, with the directories desktop_air and desktop_flash, but the readme has two lines about editing the air .js file and no info about where these files go. Flash apps and media server are setup and working fine, and desktop is installed. The documentation on this is very unclear, and the threads asking about this are dead.

I am using 7.1.

People in our dev team love many of the features of dolphin, and management is talking about using it for several other site, but the support seems really thin, and could be a problem. Our first dolphin site is being tested and setup, by me and to a lesser extent our project team.  And I am not baiting you ir regards to our interest in several licenses, already the owner wants another  dolphin based site put up within the year, and management is considering several others. However, it is my head on the block if there are problems, and having "features" that can't be setup out of the gate, because documentation is weak, is a bad sign.

Actually desktop app is generated automatically.

When you install Desktop module, the AIR app is automatically generated on boonex server especially for your domain and is uploaded here:

modules/boonex/desktop/file/desktop.air

So your site users download ready to use app.

Desktop source code is needed if your need to modify desktop app.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
