Does the admin loggin name "have" to be admin?

Help Please...

I use Rocker as my admin loggin and the mail was working fine "with in"  the site. but now I have the smtp mail setup. But...  I keep getting a message saying that "My membership level does not allow me to send mail",   The mail is working good in the site and is being forwarded to private e-mail addresses.. It seems to be setup right if it's working this well. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong???

I changed mine too... seems to be working without any issues.  I'm not using an SMTP module.  I did change the Admin > Settings > Basic Settings ... Main Settings emails to reflect the new "admin" username.

No. Any name you wish can be set up as the administrator. You can even have multiple administrators ....(I have 6)
