Dolphin 7.0.3 Upgrade Feedback

Upgrade went smooth.

One issue with a duplicated top menu item for the forums. But fixed easy my self took me seconds to fix.

Apart from that no issues. I have 4 custom templates and all work fine.

Orca template needed the new complied languages to be added to custom templates. Took me 2 mins to sort if that.

I had to remove the forum and then re-ad the forum... but it did fail the first time. I went through and did all the permissions on all the files that needed them reset, per upgrade instructions... and then re-added the forum and it worked. I'm not sure if they were related, but it works now.

Never had that problem, I had no problem at all with the forum apart from the language for my custom templates. And like i said that was so easy just copy and rename the ****_en folder to the skin needed.

Every thing works fine but mass mail generates a database error.

The original poster noticed this when he received a contact us email. Although his sql server was down at the time when getting the database error i get is when sending out mass mail.

The BxDolEmailTemplates.php file in 7.0.2 is smaller then in 7.0.3 so I have tried to update the BxDolEmailTemplates.php file with the up to date one in the full dolphin 7.0.3 package due to it not being in the patch package but no luck. So there must be some thing missing from the patch to update the database that is causing the error.
