Dolphin 7.0.8 as sub-domain

I want to install dolphin 7.0.8 as sub-domain but I get , Fatal error: Call to a member function getDbCacheObject() on a non-object in /home/wkspouse/public_html/weekendspouse_dolphin/inc/classes/BxDolAlerts.php on line 75

Another issue I install it as http://www.weekendspouse.weekendspouse.net and it installs as weekendspouse_dolphin in the root directory.

Is there a way to stop error? I would like to install dolphin as a sub-domain to allow me to configure it for replacing main domain. I currently have a live domain that I want to use dolphin 7.0.8 once I have all the changes made to make it look different than my other sites.

Help!!

Hello:

Right now my goal is to setup dolphin as a sub domain. But it will not  install as sub domain without an error being created. I install it as sub domain weekendspouse then it changes to weekendspouse_dolphin by it self.

By it changing the sub domain name it creates an error, failing to install as I intend it to install as.. Reason that I want to install as a sub domain first is that I have a live site already on weekendspouse'net  Once I'm able to get it installed correctly, the I want to configure it with a template, ect before making it the live site domain of weekendspouse.net.

This is why I'm asking for help to resolve this matter to resolve Fatal error: Call to a member function getDbCacheObject() on a non-object in /home/wkspouse/public_html/weekendspouse_dolphin/inc/classes/BxDolAlerts.php on line 75

Moving it from sub domain to the main domain is not the issue at the moment.

it should not be a problem at all to install on a subdomain. are you using softaculous to install or are you installing manually?

and as for your statement that it installs dolphin_ that is typical of the database prefix.

there is no known reason with dolphin, why you should have these issues. you may need to run this through your hosts support ticket system, as there could be something going wacky with how you are setting up the subdomain, or there have been recent updates to softaculuos, and its causing the problem.

I was using softaculous to try to install Dolphin 7.0.8 for sub domain and it kept giving me error messages.

So I did a manual install of  Dolphin 7.0.8  for my sub domain, but  Dolphin 7.0.8  did not ask for a license number. So I have a functional website with no license installed..
