Dolphin 7.0 Mac OS X Server

Hello all.  I have Dolphin 7.0 installed on a Mac OS 10.5 Server.  Everything is running fine with the exception of video uploads.  I can do pictures and music, but any form of video fails to work.  I can't upload files, embed video, or record video comments. I was wondering if anyone has successfully set up Dolphin on a Mac OS X 10.5 server?  I have been struggling with this for well over a month now.  I can't for the life of me figure out how to make videos work!  I've reinstalled twice with the same problem.  Everything but video works. Is there a guide for installing on a Mac OS X server somewhere?

I have been through the following troubleshooting steps as seen on these pages:

I have cron jobs set up properly, and all the folders and files have proper permissions.  I have installed RMS.  Red5 and ffmpeg are installed on my server.

The ffmpeg included with the Dolphin download would not execute on my server, but I used ffmpeg from ffmpegX and I can now get ffmpeg to exec on the server.  But still no video uploads! All I keep getting are 404 errors when I upload videos.

I am by no means a master at Unix or anything, but I am competent enough to install things  on my server.  I have full access to it.  I am extremely frustrated with everything working but the video.  Can anyone offer advice??  I am EXTREMELY frustrated at this point.  If I could get videos to work, I'd be very happy!

Thanks!

RE: Can anyone offer advice??

Yeah.... install it on a web server that meets these requirements: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DolTech

Hint: I don't see Mac OS on the list of server operating system

I appreciate the response, but since this is the only server I have, is there any other solution?

That's like asking the question, "I have a .45 caliber revolver, but I only have .22 caliber ammunition.  What do I do to make it work?"

From what I understand, Mac 10.5 Server is compatible.  It is has Apache 2.0 web server, PHP 5.3, and MySQL 5.0.  I admit, I'm by no means a professional server administrator, but everything is working but the video.  It seems to me there would be a solution to it.  I was hoping someone had a work around. I don't have the resources to get another server, so I'm working with what I have.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
