Alright, how are you installing Dolphin (are you uploading the contents of the zip file via FTP, or are you unpacking the zip locally on the server)?

i am uploading files via ftp using filezilla.

That could be where you're having issues. It's never recommended to upload all the files one-by-one with FTP, as you're bound to see errors due to the large amount needed to transfer.

Try deleting the current Dolphin installation, uploading the zip file to where you want to install, and unzipping it locally on the server via SSH.

Ha ha, I can understand the feeling. I've had many sleepless nights working with Dolphin.

If you want, I can do the installation for you. Just send me all the information needed via a private message from my profile.

Well, is this file ffmpeg.exe? Try going (in FTP or local file manager for the server) to /root/flash/modules/global/app/ffmpeg.exe and CHMODing it to 777. Then, re-check the installation.

I am on Arvixe too... Try what avantguardia said above about contacting your host first. If they can't do anything, I'll see what I can do myself.

Edit: Well, if they arn't, that makes them one hell of a bad host. Even my own host supports my third-party scripts, and they're not even BoonEx certified.

Want me to see what I can do to install it correctly?

They told me to contact boonex that they are only the provider and they do not offer technical support on the site software unless i pay them and ungodly amount of money and i have gave them too much money as it is. There smartasses about everything but idk...

I have to stay with them since i pay for 6 month, soon when that expire, i will go from them. Only that guy Noah from support wants to help you, other one... Undecided

I am running D7 final on Arvixe with the old RMS settings and everything runs fine. They will update the RMS server now that it is a final release. I have installed two D7 sites on Arvixe without any problems. The biggest thing you need to do is get them to enable SSH. Will make your life a lot easier. No playing around with FTP programs or anything.

You either did not upload the files properly, or you are using a compromised .ZIP file for your installation. In any case, download a new copy of the script and upload the .ZIP file itself to the server, decompressing it locally (as in on the server).

Also, please do not revive this topic any further, and continue such discussions in either a new topic, or private message.

why didn't you just use the softaculous in cpanel? once click install.

i am using arvixe too. they are ridiculously slow in responding to support mail.

For some reasons I download again the zip file from Boonex and this time all the files was there.

I unzip it to my hard drive and form my hard drive I FTP to my website and its working now.

Devin, I’m using Arvixe too but I’m not using the Cpanel, I’m doing everything manually, it’s the best way to know how the program works, at this moment everything is working fine.

Magnussofy- Sorry for my comments, I will try to don’t do that again.

one reason would be that depending on the hosting service, softactulous is not available. and up until just a few days ago, there were issues with installing dolphin with softaculous. these errors have since been corrected, however, there are no definitive tests for affirmation.

the best way to install dolphin is manually, that way you know that it was installed correctly.
