Dolphin 7.2.1: Editing blog category page layout

How can the layout of blog category pages be edited?

This page can be found in the Dolphin Boonex 7.2.1 Demo at the URL below, but is not listed in Admin > Builders > Pages Builder for layout modification:

http://demo.boonex.com/blogs/posts/Kangaroo/category/Rainforest

Only Blog Home and Blog Post View are selectable for editing.

Any thoughts?

There are several other pages which can't be selected from the Pages Builder for layout modification.

Beyond the blog category page, how can layout be modified for other pages not listed in the Pages Builder?

Updated from my chat conversation with Igor:

Because if you don't see a page in Because if you don't see a page in the Builders, you won't be able to change its layout without messing with the code.

If that is what you want to do, I suggest that you try our "JOBS" section in BOONEX MARKET to find out what our community developers could do for you and at what price. You can also browse the MARKET in search of a similar product already developed and published by a third party.

JOBS: http://www.boonex.com/jobs

MARKET: http://www.boonex.com/market

you may want to add that to the forum posting in case others have the same question

No, I won't add that in the Forum because that's already a well-known fact and the forum is intended to provide solutions even in such cases. But those solutions may come from independent developers and not from BoonEx.

I've been working off and on with Boonex Dolphin for 5 years and didn't know this, so how well known is it?

There are many pages within Dolphin that present dynamically generated content.  Page builder only has those pages with static content blocks.  Since some pages are dynamically generated, you can't just add content in the same manner as a page that is made up of static blocks.

Just imagine searching for a specific keyword on Google... you get a page with a list of results.  It's not really a page in the traditional sense... it's only a presentation of content based on search criteria.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

Thanks for the dynamic vs static content explanation. Helps clarify why some pages have layouts which can be manipulated in Pages Builder and some do not.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
