Dolphin AWS Upgrading

We are looking at a Dolphin deployement in Amazon.  We are planning on using scalable instances on our PHP servers.  One problem posed is how do we perform upgrades to our Dolphin instance with minimal effort.  thank you and please advise.

 In addition has anyone developed a Chef recipe for deploy of Dolphin to the Amazon enviroment?

you should be good on just about any server; as long as you follow the system requirements documentation.
