Hey Guys!!! I have the smartpro package for my main site but I am setting up a mirror site using the "free" version on a different server so that I can test out my customizations.... I go to install the dolphin and I am getting this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/axeladam/public_html/install/index.php on line 541
Is that due to server issues? or is there something I need to fix???

mb_internal_encoding needs mb_string enabled pleae open a ticket with host and ask to resolve this/ I have video tutorials to help you mrpowless.com |
This might be something the web host does but they are confused when you tell them about it. They treat you like a dumba$$ and belittle you .... |
If your host is getting confused on something as simple as mbstrings, then it's time to get a new host. Especially if they're just belittling you. |
if its so simple then why does the host have to set it ...why cant i set it? |

It says "on line 541" not error 541. You were asking about error 541.

Because unless you have a dedicated server, you don't have control of the full server as there are other sites and such on the server that have to be protected. This item is located in the servers Root files, not accessible to most. If you want to be able to change it yourself, then open up your wallet and pay to have everyone else kicked out of the box your site is in and then your host will allow that.
Sorry if it sounds rude, but this a host issue and you gave an incredibly rude response to people who are trying to help you.

scroll up ...nothing rude up there |
as i was told i was being rude by this guy ...i was told why the fatal error shows up and why ...and the fix ... |
thank you sammie |
