Dolphin in Adobe Dreamweaver

Hi. I am a beginner and want to make my site first before I host in on the web and have to spend money. I want to at least make a basic skeleton of what I want to do so that way I can start bringing in revenue as soon as my site hits the web. I was thinking about using Adobe Dreamweaver, since I already own it and it is a good offline web creation tool. I was wondering if it would be possible to use Dolphin in Dreamweaver so I can create my site. If not, maybe there is another offline web creator than can use dolphin. Also I plan to finish the site, and then take the html coding and put it on the new site when it is time to get it hosted. Thank you.

Dreamweaver is out of the question, since Dolphin needs to be installed on a web server with PHP and MySQL - in order to be used.  You can install WAMP or XAMPP on your local machine and test out Dolphin, but real hosting is required for actual use.

Edit: Don't expect to be able to "build" Dolphin with HTML.  It supports templates, but most of Dolphin consists of PHP - content is taken from the database.  If you think WordPress is too much to handle, Dolphin isn't for you.

Hosting dolphin and dreamweaver is two different things. As Nathon said. Dolphin uses php to generate html so you can't view the site in dreamweaver. You need to install a apache web server with php and mysql in it. WAMP or XAMPP is a package which contains all necessary things to run dolphin. Just search for wamp and download and install it on your windows system. Then you can install your dolphin on your own system, it will act like a server. You can use dreamweaver to just edit the codes to suit your need.

so much to do....

I agree with Prashank's post.  I use Dreamweaver but only as a tool for editing the files on my Dolphin site.
