Dolphin links in unlicensed version of 7.1

The dolphin license for 7.1 states that dolphin links must be preserved in unlicensed versions. It used to be at the bottom. I see that it is now in the splash banner and also a popup tab that appears on the left side of the page. Since the splash banner is optional in the admin and my client doesn't want to use the large splash banner, is it permissible to not use the splash banner or make a much smaller splash banner without the boonex/dolphin link as long as the popup tab is used?

The link required by the license is the floating badge.  The subtext in the promo is demo content and can be removed.

Thank you for clearing that up for me, I thought it was like that but wanted to be sure.
