Duplicating front page blocks question

I have a question regarding the front page blocks.  Is it possible to copy a block so you can show it in two different places.  Such as NEWs, have it show to non-members on the right side and set a duplicate to show for members on the left side?

If I remember correctly, the news block has boxes for member and guest, as well as both.  Why not check one for the member, and place it where you want, then drag another news block to the other location and check it for a guest?

Once you drag the block from inactive blocks it is in place, there isn't a way to copy it that I can see.

Actually I figured it out, you need to add a new block and then go edit the function of the new block to the one you want to copy.
