Edit Default Error Messages

How do I edit the default error messages?

Example: when you go to a page on your site that doesnt exist, you are given a message:

PAGE WAS NOT FOUND

And when your access is denied, you get a message

ACCESS DENIED

Admin>Settings>Language Settings>Manage Keys enter the text (for ex. "PAGE WAS NOT FOUND") and click the box next to apply to search for the key. Then edit the text in the popup edit box. If you want to edit the formatting, you'll have to firebug it to see where those files are.
