Editing catagories for blogs, and ads

Hi, I would like to know how to edit the catagories in the blogs and ads. I assume this is possible.

You cannot EDIT a categorie BUT you can CREATE NEW ONES! :)

- Login to your admin panel

- Advanced Settings

- Categories Settings

- Then you'll see just on the right of module, a drop down menu (which should be written ARTICLES)) click on the little arrow to select the categorie you want to work with.

you can change it all via your phpmyadmin,  all categories located in sys_categories table

Thanks for the info guys. This script just keeps getting better and better. I am so psyched about getting this thing configured and launched. Man what a great script. I've been editing this thing for hours now and I think I am going to have to take a break. Tried to sleep but couldn't stop thinking about it and had to get up and do some more.

I figured out how to get the ads catagories changed in my php admin. It is under bx_ads_category in my data base. The sys_categories was for the blogs, videos and other catagories. The thing that I can't find is the images. In editing the catagories in the data base it says that it is named bx_music.png,bx_aboutus.png,bx_news.png, and so forth. I can't find the file that contains these. Anyone know where they are?

Also I am having problems with my custom fiels and units showing on the ads. they show on the form when you post a new ad but not on the ad itself like they are before the edit. Anyone know anything about this?

Ok, I found how to add categories to the ads in the old installation of this but now I cant find it again. Can someone please give me a screen shot maybe. Not sure if something is messed up with this
