Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS

Google says

Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content

Your page has 2 blocking script resources and 1 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.
None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.
I also see this on my own sites using boonex. Does anyone know how to address this issue now?  and does anyone know if there is a plan in the future that this will be addressed in the Boonex core script ?

Not possible to do it now. It would require major rewrites to make it happen, and even then, it may not be possible to eliminate all of them.

Even facebook has the same issue when tested by google pagespeed. Most major complex websites do. A lot of the javascript is needed for the site to even work.

I tested the top 15 social sites listed here. http://www.ebizmba.com/articles/social-networking-websites and all of them except google+ and Linkedins mobile version(not the desktop version) have non blocking script in them. It's a common issue that in many cases can't be avoided without sacrificing features such as much of the ajax that is used that many people want.

I think that test should be removed from google pagespeed because many sites simply will not be able to pass that test.

If boonex wants to tackle it, more power to them. However i am betting that boonex will consider it a non critical issue.

I consider it a non critical issue.  People worry too much about a lot of silly things.  Just build a good website, promote it, and you will do well.

Geeks, making the world a better place
