Email Transfer (Interac) Payment

I am currently looking for a mod or script for the above.  I would like to have it placed alongside the other payment providers.  Does anyone know of one, or where I may get it?  Thanks so much....Tom

If I remember correctly, (correct me if I'm wrong) but interac is a Canadian form of transferring payment from your bank account to another.  It's a pretty nice system, takes about 5 minutes for the whole thing to happen, costs $1.50 (CAN) for the entire transaction and is probably the most secure form of payment out there.  Definitely the most economical one out there.

Haven't seen any type of mod for this however, with my familiarity in it I believe in order to utilize it you have to be logged into your bank account so not sure how well this is going to work with dolphin since it requires tying directly into the sender & recipients bank accounts.  At least that's how I saw it utilized when I lived in Canada.

Again, that is primarily a system for Canadians, so I'm not sure how many are going to jump on this.  Instead, I'd suggest getting ahold of interac and attempting to work something out with them as you will need access to certain proprietary information that is not privy to those of us here in the Unity Forums.

We could create a nice iFrame for you, but more than likely that's going to set off some warning bells on Interac's servers when people attempt to login form your sites URL.  Beyond that, look at the cookie issue, https issues, the fact that they do business primarily in Canada and must access Canadian Bank Accounts as the only means to transfer money.  US Banks for example do not currently work with them (that I'm aware of, I could be wrong here as I haven't dealt with Interac since around April when I moved back to the States).

The reasn we have access to Paypal, CCBill and all the other systems on 6.1 and Paypal on D7 is that Boonex has already worked out these contracts and these companies primarily deal with websites.  Interac Primarily deals with Canadian Debit/Credit Cards.

Again, it's a great idea as the transfer rates on Interac are incredibly reasonable in comparison to Western Union, Paypal, CCBill and so many other systems out there.  Not to mention it's almost instantaneously in your bank account.  Just not something that we're going to be able to do in here for you.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
