 How does the mass emailer actually work? If a member selects to optin and receive emails, does this mean the mass mailer will send out emails to everyone who opted in during join? Or does the mass emailer work for people who use the Newletter signup function on the page? And if what I typed is incorrect, what function does the EmailNotify option perform? Any insight on this feature is appreciated. |

I'm pretty sure it is just the newsletter but I have not used it yet. Does anyone also know - is there an opt-out link on the message itself? I'm also interested in this because I have a fairly large number of messages I would like to put on a good "opt-out" list. I used to use emailbrain.com which was a very good provider of this service but would rather not have another monthly bill if I can avoid it. If dolphin doesn't do this well - and I don't think it does, can someone recommend a good open source script for this? Thanks Rob |

From what I've seen in there playing around and trying to get the mass emailer to work, it seems to only work for subscribers so far. If anyone has a way to get it so admin can mass email members as well as subscribers I'd love to know how to do this. thanks. |
