Enforce login message

Hello all,

I know that Dolphin allows the restriction of pages to members, but is there a way we can make it show a message asking guests to register, something like "You need to register to access this page"? Right now the pages just appear blank to members.

Thanks!

there was some mod floating around that would auto-redirect to join.php im not sure where its at, but there is something available. yeah i found that annoying as well, that they would be allowed to click on the navigation, only to be taken to a page that says you dont have access yadda yadda.....

'

maybe in a future release, we can see some changes on what access level is obtain from guests when guests should be required to register.

I havent tested it on the most recent version on Dolphin, but you can try this:

http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Members_Only_Site

This will display a login box with an option to click Join if they go to any of the pages in the description.

Excellent! Thanks guys.

@Zarcon I was also wondering if we can do the same with page blocks, the ones which are accessed via ..../page/page. Those are not php files so is there a way to enforce login for them as well?

Thanks!
