Error 505

I have just installed Dolphin, but whenever I try to view the site I get a 505 error and this message:

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

I tried reversing permissions as it first appeared after I changed the files the setup said to back to un-writable but that didn't work. I also tried removing the .htaccess file that someone else tried in another post, but again that didn't work. Any ideas what I can do?

Thanks

did you put it in the root folder? or did you create a folder?

I created a folder for the Dolphin files and it was the root .htaccess that I tried.

The Dolphin files were at mysite.com/folder/folder/dolphin-folder/. I've now tried moving them to mysite.com/dolphin-folder but that makes no difference.

can you give me your link to the site and the name of the folder you put it in

I had my hosting company check a few things and they managed to resolve it. Something to do with where the domain points to by default.

Thanks a lot
