Events and the Map

How come the events module has a location map for them yet when entering the "event" there is not a place for the street address?

When posting events we are having to go back and correctly place or move the event icons on the map manually.

Yes, the default Events module, incorrectly uses the Place field as an address field. However Place does not always mean address. Place could be "At the town hall center", "The Auditorium" etc. In my Premium Events module, I added a separate Street field which can be used along with Place.
