Execute this mysql query

I downloaded a free version of this "spy on front page." And after no response from the script maker, I have a question.

I dont know how to execute this procedure:

Execute this mysql query :

-- Dumping data for table `sys_page_compose
'

The directions go on to tell me to insert some values into sys page compose and alter a little file. That part was no problem, but I do not know what the above means exactly, and I suppose thats why my wall spy is not functioning.

Can someone please describe what I need to do to Execute a query.

This sentance says nothing, and its possibly spellt wrong.

Querys are run with phpMyAdmin. Open phpmyadmin, select your dolphin database. The click the query button. Querys to be run are pasted there.

Appreciate the answer Deano. But I need more help here. Here is exactly what the directions say:

1. Execute this mysql query :

-- Dumping data for table `sys_page_compose`

INSERT INTO `sys_page_compose` VALUES('', 'index', '998px', 'Spy data here', '_bx_spy', 2, 2, 'PHP', 'BxDolService::call(''spy'', ''spy_home'');', 0, 66, 'non,memb', 0);

I inserted all that in and I can see it listed in sys page compose. When I click the query button, I get 3 diff boxes that looks beond my capabilities. Is inserting the info and seeing it enough?

Here is the error on my page that displays where the module is located.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/j****/public_html/d*******ie.com/inc/classes/BxDolPageView.php(572) : eval()'d code on line 1

If you can see the new entry, the yes, it's there. The error indicates a different problem.

Contact the mod author. They would be more familier with the mod, and may have seen it before.

I have sent a few msgs to the dude, with no response. I know these sparse errors are usually a colon or something simple. But the odd thing is, that the error comes up ON the page (page fully loads and functions) where the block is located, unlike a normal white blank page with an error. Maybe I entered something wrong in the DB? Maybe I just answered my own question? Embarassed
