is there any particular reason why you cannot contact this developer? I tried at the website and when I try here at unity i get the profile doesn't exist. Should I stay away from this developer?

Boonex removed his account. There are many reports on him about theft of mods others have developed, and using other code found on the internet. Many well known members here do not trust him.

But it's still up to you.

Out of respect for the actual developers of the modifications and scripts he was distributing (many commercial), it is asked you not do business with this individual. He broke hundreds of license agreements and distributed many copyrighted works illegally, and it is in my (and others) opinions, that he does not receive any business for such actions. Of course, the choice is always up to you, and if you wish to do business with this individual, then we will not stop you from doing so.
