FFMpeg

Hi,

I am trying to install dolphin 7 on my site (hosted by byet) however they dont allow .exe files, is there a way to install dolphin without using ffmpeg as i want to trial the community site befor i start spending money on another host that allows the ffmpeg?

You may install Dolphin 7.0 without support for ffmpeg.exe by following the standard installation instructions. However, you will not be able to take advantage of much of your multimedia features.

Modify the file permissions

flash/modules/global/app/

set file permissions to 755.

He is asking how to pass the pre-installation permission check for ffmpeg.exe. The desired permission for this file is 777.
