 Hi all can someone please tell me when you get hacked via fpt is it a flaw in the script or host. as I have been havked 5 times now and they keep deleting a bunch of files the worse affected is the cache folder containing the users information and all media files get deleted too. WHAT CAN I DO. Thanks |
Have you not been following the recent threads on this? It depends on the kind of hack, of course, but a common current hack involves malware that steals the passwords from your FTP client - usually Filezilla, or someone you have shared your passwords with. At a minimum, scan your computer for Malware, delete private data from Filezilla, and change all your passwords- ftp and control panel.
