Facebook Connect Issue - invalid Scopes

Greetings -

I was wondering if anyone knows or seen this error before, when I try to connect via FB connect button, I get this error: invalid Scopes: user_interests (please see attached). I have no idea whether this needs to be fixed at the FB App level or D7 level or maybe the FB connect button is not working properly..

had the same problems, it never worked and ended up uninstalling it. :(

@Eddie I was wondering if you used "Deanos Facebook Connect" - I hate to say that this Mod is useless and waste of money.. I'd like to hear feedback from other folks who used this Mod and if there is a reliable FB Mod on the market.. 

What about FB button that comes with D7, does it work with no issues ? I'd like to hear from folks who are using FB connect successfully and which Mod they are using..

 No Morocco i haven't tried Deanos, probably won't use any FB connect now :(

@Morroco - Feel free to ask any of the 50+ people that have left nothing but positive feedback on Deano's FB module. This module is far from useless or a waste of money for those wanting to allow Facebook members to join/login. He is one of the top developers here on the BoonEx market so I would advise reaching out to him if you have questions and/or errors when using his modules.

@Zarcon  I am not trashing Deano's Mod, in fact I gave him good feedback in the past.. As I said in my previous post, I am looking for as solution as to whether the issue is on FB App, within Dolphin, or within Deano's Mod..

I have too many visitors complaining & I am looking for a solution.. Lots of websites are using FB connect, why I can't get it to work on my site.. Thx. 

I would not know why your users are complaining, the error is only suppose to be visible to app admins/developers as also stated in the error message you got from facebook. The user_interests scope no longer exists. FB has made a lot of changes.
