Facebook Connect bug?

I'm not sure if this is just happening to me but thought I would post here in case others are experiencing similar issues.  My site is setup to moderate all new members, i.e. they are put in the 'approval' status and then I manually activate them (to filter out the spam).  Well this has worked well for Dolphin 7 except that I have now activated the Facebook Connect module and noticed a major flaw.  When a new Facebook member connects to my site, all members on the entire site are set to Inactive status!  This is a big problem and I am glad I did some testing, however I am not sure if it is isolated to my site, so I would be interested in hearing others experience with this module.

Thanks!

It's known and there is a ticket http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/ticket/1664

It does not happen on my site, but my site is not setup that way.

It does not always happen. I think it depends on how the site is configured as far as membership levels.

But you will notice another flaw with the FB connect that i don't think boonex is going to fix. Try changing a users nickname who connects with facebook. Log out then reconnect with facebook and see what happens.

You will also eventually run into another flaw i discovered recently also.

Thanks for the info.  I think I will disable the Facebook Connect module for now until it is more stable.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
