Facebook Connect on V 7.06

On the subject of Facebook Connect. I have upgraded my install at www.ezservices.co.uk/dolph to V 7.06, removed the old facebook connect, installed the new version from a zip file that a friend sent me, copied the url it told me to use in Site URL/Canvas URL, went to the create link to get my api key and secret key, duly inserted them in the right place, and saved it. All good. However when attempting to use facebook connect I get:

API Error Code: 191
API Error Description: The specified URL is not owned by the application
Error Message: redirect_uri is not owned by the application.

Any ideas/solutions to this?

That error means the site url you entered in the facebook application on the facebook side does not match your dolphin url.

Go to http://www.facebook.com/developers/

Edit the application.

Verify site URL and Base domain settings.

The site url must be the same as your dolphin site. If your dolphin site uses the www prefix then so must the facebook application. If it does not use the www prefix then you must leave it out.

There was also not need to update facebook connect on 7.0.6. Dolphin 7.0.6 already had the updated version.

Sorted!! I went to that link you gave and saw I had quite a few apps, all for the same site! (often with different names) so I deleted the darl lot, started again, and put in the direct url to the dolphin directory! Now its working perfik! Many thanks!
