Facebook likes - almost 7.1.6

Hi

since the upgrade 7.1.6 the facebook likes works but not quite. When I like the image it works

and i get this as though its going to work. but then the posted result on face book looks like this.......

exactly the same as it did previously. just a title and no image. I ran facebook url debugger and fb does indeed pick up the image.........

So what am I doing wrong that makes the image not show on facebook?

Open Graph meta info is added when social sharing block exists on the page. You have some modifications, so this block is removed and social buttons are added below the image, in this case Open Graph meta tags aren't added to the page. I would suggest to place "Recommend" block to the view photo page. 

what is that facebook like in the articles used for ?

When i click Like an article , Nothing happen ! it just show 1 Like , isn't meant to do something else ?

by modifications do you mean the ADDTHIS buttons? because those buttons are the only thing that nearly works, the dolphin recommend block doesn't work at all. The ADDTHIS buttons do grab the picture, and the picture does show up in facebook debugger as if there is no problem yet doesn't pin it to facebook. Could the problem be the size of the pictures on my site? if they are too large will they not go onto facebook maybe?

Something may have went wrong with your upgrade.

Each site I have upgraded the FB sharing works.

 In dolphin 7.1.6 they do work.

Facebook actually prefers large photos.

I am on your site, looking at the photo page layout in page builder.

Your missing the "actions" block for some reason from the page builder.

The photo shows the block your missing.

This is your "actions" block, and it is not the standard one.

Yours is missing the "share" button, that is where the og information works when sharing.

Have you edited the "modules/boonex/photos/templates/base/view_unit.html" for the photos?

 When i click like an article recommend block , it pop up a facebook window and i fill my details but and it take me to my facebook wall or whatever but nothing happen in the facebook , it just show like 1 in recommend block , is that what meant to do ? i thought it meant to show the article you did like in your facebook ? right or wrong ?

 Perhaps you should read the Facebook meaning...

It determines what you see on Facebook basically, over time, the things you like on other sites determines your timeline and ads they present to you on your Facebook account.

 Are you using an added "addthis" or "sharethis" widget, if so then yes that works.

I'm referring to the "Share" button in the "Actions" block.

Talking about Share in the action block ! it works fine ...
