roborino, welcome to the world of Dolphin, glad to have you here.  Couple of questions so we can help you, details are important.

1.  Did you install this on a Shared, VPS or Dedicated Server or are you utilizing a partition/home server set up?

2.  Is the server installed on a Windows OS or Linux OS?

The more we know the better we can help.  We have guys here who have done it each way, but the answers often depend on the behind the scenes items.

My development systems is MacBook Pro.  Currently I am using MAMP to server up my dev sites.

Okay, I know someone here has done this on a Mac system.  Might take a moment for them to see this, most of us use Linux and several with Windows, a few with MAMP I believe.  Sorry, I personally have no experience on Mac's.

Thanks...all a mac is now a days is a different flavor of Linux.

Have you considered partitioning it with a Linux OS and trying your test on that side of the partition?  Most servers are Linux anyways so it would work out for testing for you better in the long run.

MAMP anyone???  Any one have this working on  MBP using MAMP?  I have installed, re-installed and still get Failed to Open Page with absolutely nothing in the log files.  CRON jobs work.  If the DB is down it is surely to tell me immediately.
