Failed to reinstall Spy and Wall due to version compatibility

The site is running D7.0.8. Uninstall Wall and Spy is OK, but reinstall got this failure message.

Installation of: Spy Failed

-- Check the Dolphin version for compatibility: The module is not compatible with your version of Dolphin script

Any suggestion how to fix this issue.

Have you upgraded recently?  If so, make sure you changed the version number in /inc/header.inc.php.

We had a problem when we had the wall and the spy wall installed att he same time. They completely crashed eachother.

Check file config look for compatibility /modules/boonex/spy/install/config.php

1. look at code at line 32 

'compatible_with' => array(

            '7.0.8'  

        ),

2. change  the version you are using sample 7.0.7 or 7.0.6 and save it for this its 7.0.8.

Then It must be installed now without error.

Updated /install/config.php to

        ),

and module Syp installation got blank page forever.

Browser address bar: http://www.mazyworld.com/dx/administration/modules.php.

After refresh the page, the Spy is in the installed module listing.

But not sure the Syp is working or not.

i investigated this to some degree. was unable to reproduce on a 7.0.7 install. uninstalling the spy module and reinstalling the spy module could not reproduce the situation  you are reporting.

the fact that you had to edit the modules config file seems odd? was this an upgraded dolphin site and you upgraded to 7.0.8 or was this a clean fresh dolphin 7.0.8 install?
