Fatal error: Call to a member function getObjectCommentsCount

When I create the first topic in my site everythig goes well, but with the second topic I start getting this error on every blog action.

Fatal error: Call to a member function getObjectCommentsCount() on a non-object in /templates/base/scripts/BxBaseCmtsView.php on line 22

Some Ideas to solve this?

Its possible that the following files are corrupt.

inc/classes/BxDolCmts.php

inc/classes/BxDolCmtsQuery.php

Try replacing these files with original file from newly downloaded package.

Hi all,

I have the same problem after updating from 7.03 to 7.07. Everything else seems to work fine. I also updated all possibly affected files, but the error persists.

Is it possible that this error occurs when Dolphin runs in a sub directory? Because in my local environment I have exactly the same setup with one difference - locally I run Dolphin on a subdomain.

Any ideas wellcome...

Cheers

The problem in my case was a wrong entry in sys_obj_cmts. It name for the object was "blogposts" instead of "bx_blogs". Apparently this somehow wasn't changed during one of the updates.

Don't forget to emtpy DB cache after changing the name.

Cheers,

Freshman
