Fatal error with template arrrrrrrrr

Can someone please with cherry on top advise/help.

I installed a custom template and on clicking polls, news, articles from within the admin section I get the following error message.

'Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class BxTemplVotingView in /home/luplupco/public_html/templates/tmpl_bq2/scripts/BxTemplVotingView.php on line 14'

which i understand is to do with the custom template in the default template so how would I go about fixing i,

You will need to contact the template developer. Aparently your template uses a custom version of BxTemplVotingView.php. You can replace it with a copy from the uni scripts drectory, but it might break the template.

It's best the template developer find the reason for the error, and fix it.

thanks for responding deano

The template developer sent what he/she said was a fix which has not made any fixes at all to it and thers no real response from him/her for few days know either.

If I try to remove it then it causes the website not to work at all.

I did not say remove it, i said try replacing it with a copy from uni template.

But part of all of this is the possibility that some areas of the admin section are still not using the default UNI template as it should.

I believe most of them were fixed just prior to the release of 7.0. But i believe some of the issues still exist which may be fixed in 7.0.1

My black template has a issue in the admin areas with message boxes having black corners in some areas.

Anyhow, if it works with the UNI template, then you could just pass ?skin=uni onto the end of the url when going to the admin panel to force the use of the UNI template while using admin. That of course is just a hack.
